All persons distributing food or beverages to the public must obtain a food service permit. Mobile units with current permits from Prince George’s County may operate without an additional temporary permit. Food trucks that are licensed in other jurisdictions must apply for a temporary food permit to serve food.

Here is a link to the online application system: http://dpiepermits.princegeorgescountymd.gov/

Applicants who are new to the system will need to create an account. There is a small fee for the online credit card transaction.

The deadline to submit temporary food service applications is 5 working days prior to the event. In order to allow time for processing and to avoid confusion on the day of the event we recommend that food vendors submit their applications as early as possible.
